Listing of Members of the Seminole County Medical Society, by specialty, is available to the public.

Scholarship Fund
The Seminole County Medical Society created a Luis Perez, M.D. Scholarship Fund where the Society awards $2,000.00 to a senior high school student who is interested in pursuing an education in the sciences. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit and need. The students who achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average and have done well in at least four science courses will be considered. The Society has been honored to have Dr. Kimberly Kilgore chair the Scholarship Committee.

Teach-In
This is an opportunity for physicians to get a taste of teaching, and to enhance student learning by going into a classroom for an hour during the Greater Seminole Teach-In held in November. Physicians volunteer to discuss their career experiences, read a book, tutor a student, talk about their travels, etc.

Science Fair
The Seminole County Regional Science, Math, & Engineering Fair, sponsored by organizations that support education in Seminole County, is held during February each year, at the Seminole Towne Center Mall. Projects are on display during mall hours. Judging and an Awards Presentation occur on a Saturday. Physicians volunteer as judges for the science projects.

Medical Assistant Program
Established as a partnership with Seminole Community College, this program allows medical assistant students to complete a clinical practicum in doctors' offices.

Volunteer Physicians Program
Physicians volunteer their services at the Seminole County Health Department in Sanford, or at the Coalition for the Homeless Health Clinic in Orlando.
